Matt Thorne vs Seth Jones (1972-19 April 2023 R.I.P) in red vs Matt Thorne. Jones, who was a trainee Solicitor, KO'd Thorne in round 1. Thorne was originally scheduled to fight Nicola Aretusa, but Aretusa pulled out, so Jones stepped in. Jones went on to produce a record of W4, L4, (3KO). He died suddenly at home 16 days after his last fight against Christian Evans, who stopped Jones by TKO in round 2.

James won his first 7 fights, beating Dave Radford x3, Seth Jones, Jason Young, Corey Williams, Richard Glaysher. In his first 6 fights he won the Heavyweight British title x1 (on his debut) then successfully defended it x2, the Atlantic Heavyweight title x1, British Middleweight title x1, World Light Heavyweight title x1. McCrory is considered the undisputed title winner of UK BKB.

Event Licence
This is the first BKB Licence in the UK. This licence news swept throughout the Country. One other person claimed to be the first to get BKB licenced as a sport, but he can't and has never produced any evidence to coroborate his claim. This would be extremely easy to produce, either by the hotel he claims the event was at in Nottingham, or the Nottingham City Council licencing archives.
